ERICKSON ANTICS IN LOS ANGELES

Dad started building for the Church when I was in Kindergarten.  His first assignment was in Kingston, New York, on the Hudson River.  While we were there, the older girls moved to California, except for Duke (Ginny) who needed to finish her senior year in high school.  April also moved to California while we were in the Samoan Islands.  With 4 of the 7 girls living in California, when we were entering or exiting the U.S.  Mom and Dad would make sure we had time in Los Angeles for the gathering of the clan.

Somewhere in Los Angeles - since Dad was taking pictures of palm trees, this had to be before we left for the British Isles in the early 1960's.   After Samoa, palm trees were not a novelty!

The cars are a dead giveaway, too.  Definitely the early 60's.

Pretty sure this was stop in Los Angeles was on the way back to Australia, since I am not in these pictures.  I didn't go back with the family because I left for the California North Mission.
