Family Favorites Cookbook!

It's finally here! And to celebrate this fun and add-onable book - I'm posting a preview recipe from the Holiday Cookie Section.
But before that, I just want to send the request out again... There is one very important thing we need for a recipe book. I guess you could say its really the only requirement; and that would be... RECIPES!!!

Here are the next sections:

Family favorite, tried and true, Soups and Stews - and...

Holiday Treats and Sweets... with an emphasis on Holiday Cookies (seperate section).

As always, these recipes should be the most requested, family favorite, almost signature recipes that you are known for! And please share stories and traditions that go along with extra special recipes!

Due date is November 1st so I can make a quick turn around, and get these recipes into your hands for the making!

Thanks much and much love...joey

Jubilee Jumbles

3/4 Cup oil
2 Cups brown sugar
1 Cup white sugar
3 eggs
2 Cups canned milk (evaporated)
2 tsp. vanilla
5 1/2 Cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix wet & dry ingredients separately then combine. Scoop a tablespoon for each cookie and drop onto a lined cookie sheet - batter will be thin and spread. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

Frosting:

3/4 Cup butter
1/2 Cup canned milk
1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
powdered sugar

Microwave butter and brown sugar for 5-7 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Remove and stir in milk. Let cool and stir powdered sugar by cupfuls to thicken to desire consistency. Spread on cool cookies.
